The Corporate Safety Manager will act on behalf of the Reily Foods Company to promote safe and professional work practices and conditions company wide. Charged with the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the companys safety program, this leader will specifically drive a multi-faceted yet integrated approach to ensuring compliance, assessing risk, provide training, and investigate incidents while simultaneously driving value to the companys business plan.

Description

  • Oversees all aspects of the companys Safety Program to include all manufacturing and distribution locations - Knoxville, Boston, New Orleans (travel required).
  • In partnership with Plant Managers and local safety leads, develops and implements Safety programs and trainings to ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal mandated laws and regulations.
  • Consistently measures, analyzes, and develops the effectiveness of policies and procedures and recommends data driven changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate accidents, injuries, and damages.
  • Implements auditing programs of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and recommends corrective actions.
  • Manages all safety systems, processes, and associated vendors and serves as the point of contact for all safety inquiries.
  • Proactively promotes and drives the development and continuous improvement of the companys safety plan and goals.
  • Closely partner with Plant Managers and local safety leaders
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university is required
  • 5+ years Safety management experience in a manufacturing plant
  • Strong background in food/beverage manufacturing preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, PSM, DOT and EPA regulations/practices
  • Experience driving a Safety First culture within a manufacturing setting
  • Requires strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills
