Today, we are the leading specialty contractor in the Atlanta market, serving the Southeast for almost 100 years.About the Role:As a Safety Manager you will play a key role in developing, assessing, and maintaining policies and procedures that helps to reduce risk and keep employees safe from harm in the workplace. Safety managers provide training and guidance for workers and ensure that the workplace is in compliance with OSHA regulations.In this Role You Will:Identify hazards and eliminating or coordination of mitigating hazards utilizing hierarchy of controlsMake frequent tours of the worksite observing work processes and procedures while engaging employees, correcting safety deficiencies, and coachingCreate daily safety reports documenting observations and noting any actions to be correctedInspect and audit JSAsPerform monthly audit such as, Rigging Inspection, Fall Protection Inspection, Assured Grounding Inspection, Temporary Power GFCI Inspection, and ARC Flash PPE InspectionProduce weekly Toolbox Topics relevant to jobsite's activitiesConduct orientations and trainingHandle accident and incident investigationsResponsible for case managementEducation/Experience:5+ years of industrial constructionOSHA 30, 510Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, & NFPA 70EAbility to conduct incident investigations and determine root causesProficient with computers, phones, and other office equipmentStrong interpersonal, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skillsStrong internal and external communication skills including verbal, written, presentational, and active listeningA positive attitude!
