What You Will Do-

· Responsible for overseeing and directing daily safety practices and team compliance with safety practices in the Austin & San Antonio region.

· Reviewing, updating, and implementing safety policies and procedures, as needed.

· Sustain a consistent field presence to assess safety gaps and implementation of established programs.

· Maintain safety records associated with the duties defined.

· Track and report out on established Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Perform inventory and inspection of safety equipment such as fire protection equipment, PPE, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, etc.

· Audit safety inspection program. Follow up on issues identified during the inspections to make sure they are resolved.

· Perform site security inspections and correct any gaps identified.

· Schedule and organize emergency response drills.

· Perform contractor safety orientations.

· Maintain inventory and order safety supplies & equipment.

· Serve on the emergency response team.

· Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To The Table-

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Degree in construction management or equivalent preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • 3 or more years of experience in safety management in the commercial construction industry.
