If so, we want you to join our client's team as a Safety Manager in this direct placement role!What You Will Do: Promote Safety Culture: Foster a positive and proactive safety culture through behaviors and actions. Program Management: Review and update written programs, audits, and accident investigations. Incident Tracking: Track incident metrics and trends, applying findings to improve safety measures. Worker's Compensation: Manage worker s compensation incidents confidentially, balancing employee needs and company requirements. Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with business partners, regulatory agencies, and employees regarding safety requirements and opportunities. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory bodies and standards. Communication: Convey issues, trends, regulatory updates, and training materials to employees, leadership, and direct reports. Team Development: Oversee the development and performance management of direct reports.What You Need to Join Our Team: Experience: 7+ years of safety experience, including 3+ years of direct supervisory experience. Education: A bachelor's degree in safety or a related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge: Comprehensive regulatory, training, inspection, and auditing expertise. Industry Experience: Background in construction or manufacturing is required. Compliance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of DOT, MSHA, and other federal regulations is preferred. Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Professionalism: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and set an example of core organizational values. Communication: Capable of effectively communicating with senior leaders and customers.
