POSITION SUMMARYThe Safety Monitor will oversee the safety of the facility and is responsible for the safety of clients in a residential housing facility, which include ensuring consistent implementation of program procedures, organization, and management of data and related documentation. Promotes a work environment conducive to safety and effective communication, collaboration, team building and professionalism. Promotes collaborations and partnerships with other departments to provide a comprehensive continuum of services to clients.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-year related employment experience.
- Preferred 3 years of relevant experience in security.
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, CPI and First Aid Certifications.
- Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish and as appropriate to population served required.
- Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
- Cleared drug test results.
- Training, education and experience in community outreach, public health or social work preferred.
