- Safety Program Development:
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of a world-class safety program in a large industrial setting.
- Continuously assess and improve safety procedures, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Risk Assessment:
- Take a hands-on approach to identifying and mitigating risks across the organization.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement corrective measures to reduce hazards.
- Compliance & Regulation Management:
- Stay current with OSHA rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices are consistently applied.
- Serve as the primary liaison with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
- Team Leadership:
- Build and develop a high-performing safety team.
- Provide mentorship, training, and leadership to promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
Requirementsualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or a related field.
- CSP Certification (Certified Safety Professional) is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of safety experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong industrial experience with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex operational environments.
- Proven track record of working with and interfacing with OSHA to ensure compliance and resolve issues effectively.
- Leadership & Stability:
