Job Summary: The Safeway Assembly operator will consist of basic level machine operation that includes working with corrugated material and the use of hand tools.Duties & Responsibilities Includes the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned.Performs basic operator dutiesDetects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsHandling and building of corrugated productsHand tool operationPerform other duties as assigned RequirementsQualifications High School Diploma/GEDAbility to follow demonstrated directionsGood communication skillsAbility to read written instruction Physical Demands Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55lbs.Stand/Walk for full shift (8-12 hours).Bend/Twist.Ability to work with both hands on a constant basis.
