Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThis position is accountable for planning and implementation of sales, marketing, and service for assigned clients as well as potential clients within a geographical area in order to ensure that sales and revenue goals are achieved in an effective and profitable manner.Principal Accountabilities (Essential Functions)
- Promotes and sells all Tenant/Employment Background Screening products and services to existing customers and prospective customers in a proficient manner in order to achieve profitable sales.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on assigned and prospective customers to ensure they are fully satisfied with company services and/or aware of services, programs, promotions, etc. which may be of benefit to customers.
- Conducts periodic visits to each selected customer to assure maximum utilization of services and assure customer's full satisfaction with services.
- Develops, disseminates and executes weekly sales plans and recaps utilizing the assigned computer and Customer Relationship Management databases to assure that sales and marketing objectives are met in a timely and profitable manner.
- Enters new customer data and maintains appropriate detailed records of customers and prospective customers contacted, person contacted, results achieved, as well as significant problems/issues encountered.
- Participates in civic and community affairs and attends applicable association meetings to assure that Sarma services are promoted to prospective customers. This participation can include overnight trips out of town.
- Develops and implements annual sales and marketing plans outlining objectives, to be achieved and strategies to be used. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade shows, industry ads, business directories, newspapers, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with personal computers is required.
- The incumbent should also possess a great deal of assertiveness, self-initiative and creativity.
