This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in IT service management and cloud solutions. Position Overview As a Sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence by developing and managing a pipeline of enterprise-level accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and closing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. - Drive sales success by effectively managing a pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue, and closing deals within named enterprise accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cloud workflow partners to enhance sales opportunities.
- Actively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within your assigned territory or market segment.
- Collaborate with technical teams, including Solutions Architects, to manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to final procurement, ensuring alignment with client needs and budgets.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Oversee all phases of the business development cycle, including proposal creation, project scoping, implementation planning, and client presentations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, managing the full sales lifecycle.
- Proven expertise in selling IT services, with a strong focus on cloud solutions (software, implementations, and support services).
- Experience with consultative selling to enterprise and commercial customers, both within and outside IT departments.
- Deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) concepts and their value to clients.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar SaaS platforms is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
