Crown Recruiting is hiring a Sales Agronomist to join an ag cooperative in the Reeder, ND area to join their expanding team. With new locations on the horizon, this role offers strong potential for future management opportunities. This position offers the flexibility of working from home.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- 100% sales focus - no operations responsibilities
- Offer a wide range of feed, seed, chemical, & fertilizer products
- Build & maintain strong relationships with current & prospective clients
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, & provide expert agronomic advice & crop planning recommendations
- Drive sales growth by increasing crop inputs & related product sales to existing customers
- Offer expert agronomic guidance & tailored recommendations to customers
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, & competitor activities
- Prepare sales reports & forecasts to align with company objectives
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territory required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales within ag industry required
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
