Our client, a wholesaler in Irvine is seeking a Sales Analyst to join their team. As a Sales Analyst, you will be part of the Sales/Consumer Research team supporting the VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will have analytical skills, bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent and experience with CPG industry tools such as AC Nielsen, Circana, Spectra, etc., which will align successfully in the organization. - Collect and analyze product, marketing, and customer specific data
- Analyze impact of key competitors' activity and reports impact based on distribution, pricing, promotion and merchandising tactics.
- Supports development of Company's sales programs, including delivery of post promotion analyses and pricing strategies.
- Acquires ad hoc data from primary or secondary data sources for analysis using on/offline reporting tools.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in CPG industry.
- Proficient with CPG industry tools, i.e., AC Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Spectra, etc. AND MS Excel (including macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).
- 3+ years category or shopper experience and/or regional and independent experience (customer facing) is preferred.
