Position Summary:Employee Benefits Corporation is hiring for a
Sales and Implementation Representative I. The Sales and Implementation Representative I is responsible for collaborating with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) for sales support activities and is the first line of support during the implementation cycle for our clients. The Sales and Implementation Representative I is the primary resource for all parties involved in the implementation process and takes ownership from the contract phase through completion of account set-up and a transition period following implementation. This person may work in our Middleton, WI office, or be partially remote, depending on availability. Must be available for one day of onsite training and onboarding in person at our Middleton, WI office as well as available as needed for Sales and Onboarding team meetings. In office requirements are not expected to exceed more than once a month, and some months may not be required to be in office at all and may work entirely remotely if desired.
Responsibilities Include: - Complete product proposals and create opportunities and quotes in CRM system
- Create and send emails on behalf of RSDs
- Collaborate with RSDs to advise on plan design to meet customer needs
- Serve as primary point of contact to clients and brokers during the entire implementation process
- Coordinate set up of EDI files and carrier files for established partner carriers
- Review implementation documents for completeness and coordinate with client/broker as needed for any questions
- Schedule implementation meetings with clients and team members to provide warm welcome and being data gathering process. Schedule additional meetings through implementation phase
- Resolve situations involving dissatisfied clients and brokers offering patient assistance and support
- Provide ongoing customer support and troubleshooting during a transition period following implementation to include website walk-throughs
- Manage Just in Time and other communications sent to clients on timely topics related to events they are about to experience and to follow-up on any missing data
- Provide system training to clients and lead welcome call during implementation process as needed
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; may be substituted by four years directly related experience
- Two years' experience with client implementation or client relationship management
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, utilizing proper grammar, syntax, and excellent business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and foster relationships at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to guide customers through troubleshooting and navigating various company systems and mobile applications
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to help manage difficult situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to resolve issues independently
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications along with a demonstrated ability to learn new software programs
- Demonstrated experience creating and facilitating meetings using online platforms
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic proficiency with Power Point
- Availability and willingness to travel (nationally up to 5%, regionally and locally up to 10%)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency and experience with presentation technologies
- Knowledge of COBRA and tax advantaged benefit programs
- Previous experience in Benefits Administration, working with insurance brokers and/or carriers, or in the health insurance industry
