Job Summary:

We are seeking a customer-savvy Sales Assistant with a great, can-do attitude to support our top-performing sales rep in the fashion industry. Based in Los Angeles, this in-office role will assist with day-to-day sales operations, customer communication, and some trade show preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to go the extra mile to help grow sales. Occasional travel and sample deliveries to local vendors will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support

  • Provide excellent customer service and manage account needs with ease and professionalism.
  • Handle daily phone calls and emails to assist customers with orders, questions, and concerns.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and materials for meetings.
  • Maintain and update the customer database to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Shipping, E-Commerce, Marketing, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of samples and products to clients.
  • Act as a liaison between accounts and internal departments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reorders to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent account management.
  • Update the sales showroom with current product displays.
  • Drop off local samples to vendors and clients as needed.
  • Prepare for trade shows, including packing/unpacking the sample line.

Client Relations

  • Communicate with clients regarding product availability, orders, and shipment status.
  • Schedule meetings and calls between the sales team and clients.
  • Assist in preparing for client visits, including gathering samples and product information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably within the apparel industry.
  • Strong administrative experience.
  • Excellent multitasking ability.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel.
