The Role: TIME is seeking a Sales Assistant to join the US team.The role will support the daily functions of the sales team on an ad hoc basis alongside supporting our most senior sellers with administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn about all aspects of international publishing whilst supporting the sales team with the day-to-day running of the department. Responsibilities:

  • Administrative assistance to the CRO and VP of Sales, including; calendars and scheduling, travel arrangements and coordination, expense reports and processing, notes and actions from key meetings;
  • Sales administration support, including;
    • Management of incoming sales and marketing requests
    • Prospecting tools and support for national team
    • Management of key prospecting lists and invitations to events
    • Event support & coordination, including invitation management and handling VIP communications
    • CRM database and report management
  • Support the Sales team with ad hoc reporting requests for clients
Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Thrive in a 'start-up' environment
  • 1+ years work experience in a prior assistant or office management position or other relevant experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to execute and ability to know when to delegate; solutions-oriented
  • Direct and effective communicator; highly collaborative
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Empathetic and respectful, always open to new ideas or perspectives on a wide range of topics
  • Motivation to contribute to an organizational culture built upon trust, integrity, inclusion and respect

Eligible candidates for the role must be within a commutable distance of TIME's New York City office upon hire and will be expected to be physically present as needed.
