Join our team as a Sales Assistant and play a crucial part in driving our sales success by managing data, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and supporting sales campaigns.Position Summary:The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting the sales team by helping to achieve sales targets and ensuring excellent customer service. This position handles a variety of administrative tasks, responds to customer inquiries, and assists with sales-related activities. Additionally, the Sales Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities include managing the front desk and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:• Assist the sales team with daily administrative tasks such as preparing sales reports, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings.• Prepare and format documents, reports, contracts, and presentations for the sales team.• Maintain accurate records for documents and correspondence.• Manage data in relevant databases and CRM systems.• Track and monitor expenses related to sales.• Assist the sales team in generating leads and qualifying prospects.• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and trends.• Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, executives, and the sales team.• Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about the company's products and services.• Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling and preparing materials.• Organize appointments, meetings, and deadlines for the team.• Liaise with external vendors and consultants involved in sales activities.• Help plan and execute sales events, trade shows, and conferences.• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events.• Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials.• Assist with responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.• Stay informed about the company's products and services to provide accurate information to customers.• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.• Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a warm and professional manner.• Manage the reception area to ensure a welcoming and organized environment.Education and Experience:• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Familiarity with project management and CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner, HubSpot).• Strong communication skills (oral and written).• Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.• Adaptability to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Ability to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.The roles described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
