In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision, we are currently seeking an Sales Assistant for our corporate office in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Sales to ensure efficient operations within Sales organization. Major Responsibilities Include

  • Respond to routine inquiries, compose correspondence from brief instructions or own knowledge of activities, prepare routine documents emphasizing accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate meetings and other events conducted for the Sales department
  • Serves as a central point of contact for the Sales organization department
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for VP, Sales
  • Establish and maintain department planning calendar
  • Prepare and/or edit presentational material
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence
  • Coordinate departmental meetings and travel schedules, as needed
  • Provide administrative support for all areas within Sales operations, as needed
  • Maintain data, reporting, and administer Salesforce
  • Coordinate with the VP Sales in the establishment of daily priorities
  • Ensure compliance in areas of assigned responsibilities, with company and department standards, policies and procedures
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely production of presentational and communication materials
  • Provides departmental administrative support and other assistance to facilitate the functional and operational aspects of the department
  • Performs administrative duties for Procurement Department
  • Reconcile monthly AMEX statements for VP, Sales
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the VP Sales
Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions
  • Critical thinking, demonstrate the ability to think and act in selling situations
  • Analytical skills, able to analyze data and develop a sales plan
  • Planning skills demonstrate the ability to prioritize activities to achieve results
  • Microsoft Office and business math skills
Education: Bachelor's degree or directly related work experience is required. Experience: Some directly related work experience in non-durable consumer goods sales preferred but not required. This position is eligible to receive an annual incentive based on regional performance. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Starting pay will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
