Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fundraising Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in helping us meet our fundraising targets by providing excellent customer service to potential funders, generating and managing fundraising leads, and fostering long-term relationships with corporate funders. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and communication skills, a self-motivated attitude, and a passion for supporting impactful fundraising initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to potential funders, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and internet channels.
  • Lead Generation: Creatively and consistently source and qualify fundraising leads through various channels.
  • Campaign Expertise: Be knowledgeable about our fundraising campaign to effectively encourage and engage potential funders.
  • Targeted Sales Calls: Make targeted calls to qualified corporate funders, promoting our products and services and scheduling presentations when appropriate.
  • Promotional Outreach: Utilize phone calls, emails, and other promotional methods to engage potential funders and build long-lasting relationships.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with funders, demonstrating strong relationship-building skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Independently follow up on leads and demonstrate a proactive approach to fundraising activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate regularly with clients and team members via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring alignment on goals and tasks.
  • Monthly Targets: Support the team in meeting established monthly fundraising goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and progress tracking to the Project Lead.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to gain a deep understanding of our value proposition, products, and services.
  • Lead Management: Collaborate with the team to maintain and update the Moves Management program, ensuring accurate tracking and progress.
  • Firmwide Participation: Participate in company-wide meetings, including strategy meetings and other sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make compelling sales calls and present the benefits of our products and services to potential funders.
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and fundraising targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other CRM or fundraising software.
  • Ability to prepare reports and track progress on fundraising initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in nonprofit or corporate fundraising.
  • Familiarity with Moves Management systems.
  • Previous experience working towards multimillion-dollar fundraising goals.
