Athens Aggregates is a certified WBE sand & stone supplier in New York. Athens Aggregates is currently seeking a full-time Sales and Promotional Associate who will be responsible for Aggregate sales for the 5 NYC boroughs and Long Island. The work schedule is from Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. This individual will maintain excellent relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for new business relationships. Primary Functions:
- Actively work to grow our customer base by developing customer relationships
- Prospect, search and call potential customers while developing new business leads
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase efficiency
- Discover projects which may accommodate sand and stone services
- Update and manage all sales activities
- Participate in meetings and engage in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in construction preferred
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
