In this role, you'll dive into a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the fast-paced world of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance across six states.Essential Job Functions:Hands-On Learning: Accompany top-performing Territory Managers on the field to gain invaluable insights through job shadowing, immersing yourself in real-life scenarios that will shape your expertise.Comprehensive Training: Immerse yourself in various departments including Commercial Lines Underwriting, Personal Lines Underwriting, Life Underwriting, P&C Claim, Marketing, and Sales. You'll get hands-on experience with our diverse product portfolio and learn the intricacies of our processes alongside our independent agency network.Networking Opportunities: Engage with industry leaders and peers at quarterly field meetings, annual award banquets, and agent gatherings, fostering connections that are pivotal to your success.Empowering Others: Assist in organizing and conducting sales and educational sessions for our agency partners, contributing to their growth and success.Building Strong Relationships: Cultivate a positive image and forge lasting relationships with our agency force and Home Office colleagues, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.Flexibility and Growth: Embrace opportunities for growth and development, taking on additional responsibilities as assigned.Education & Experience:Required:Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field.1-3 years of industry experience.Preferred or Specialized:Prior experience in Commercial Lines and/or Life Insurance.Certifications & Licenses:Working towards obtaining P&C, Life, and Health Insurance licenses and designations.Valid Driver's License required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas confidently in public settings.Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and resolve a variety of challenges.Organization and Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, with a keen eye for detail.Resilience: Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in demanding and stressful situations.Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software.#LI-SB1
