DescriptionThe Sales Associate will provide administrative support to the eBook trade sales team, with some contact with eBook accounts. What you'll do:
- Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled eBook pricepromotions
- Create meeting agendas
- Create monthly email memos and pub alert emails
- Work as primary eBook contact for Scribd, support Senior Manager with digital library accounts
- Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings, account calls, and quarterly title presentations
- Support team in ad hoc administrative tasks
- Develop a strong relationship with Macmillan's wholly owned and distribution publishing teams, as well as the teams for Amazon, Library Marketing, Data Analytics, digital audio, and Central Marketing What you'll bring:
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently on deadlines and manage time efficiently
- Ability to perform basic analytic tasks in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and calculating percent change
- Proficiency in Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
- Interest in sales and the publishing industry Ideal Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in publishing and/or sales This role will have an annual salary of $54,000-$56,000.
