Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will focus on maintaining existing relationships with current customers while also working with new customers. You will ensure the customer receives high service levels through activities such as selling products and services, providing alternative products and solutions, quoting, following up on orders, and problem-solving issues. You will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, processing orders, and maintaining the store's appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance.
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Work on company-provided laptop to create estimates, invoices, and carry out customer sales.
- Collect payments by cash, check, and credit card.
- Issue receipts to customers electronically.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge to best help customers with their selections.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to act independently or with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit excellent customer service/relations skills.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills including negotiation skills.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.
- Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Work well in time-sensitive situations where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
- Be a quick learner and self-motivated.

- Able to understand backyard space.
- Be teachable and take direction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
- Willingness to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to quickly and accurately work on sales platforms.
- Must be able to work weekends.
