Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and friendly in-store Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with exceptional service while promoting our products and helping to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
- Provide product knowledge and assistance, ensuring customers receive excellent service.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays.
- Assist in inventory management including restocking shelves and conducting counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is also a plus but required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
