This is an exciting opportunity to support the North American Sales effort across new business and revenue retention within the D&I (Data and Insights) division of Market Intelligence. Successful team members will develop critical skills and competencies that will help them progress their careers within the sales team.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This is a client facing role where team members will be identifying and maintaining client relationships, upsell opportunities, and pipeline generation.
Help manage our prospecting efforts on a wide spectrum, including managing marketing leads, new business campaigns and cold calling, customer upgrade campaigns etc.
Managing sales tasks within our CRM system
Help sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, presenting at meetings
Attend training sessions, participate in product pitches, master the S&P Global Elevator pitch
Monitoring and keeping track of renewal book, setting a strategy on how to approach individual renewals
Analyze and ensure price increases on renewals are captured
Revise and manage renewal list and price increases
Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $33,400.00 to $66,400.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

The ability to network and build relationships
Basic understanding of financial markets, instruments, financial math is a benefit
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce or Outreach.io an asset
Curious about the financial services industry and a willingness to learn
Enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and problem solving
