A Sales / Business Development Representative is needed to help accomplish our revenue growth initiatives. The successful candidate will build impactful relationships and acquire new customers in target industries. This position is focused on accomplishing annual and long term growth strategies, atcurrent and new customers.Duties include but are not limited to:
- New Sales- Generate new sales opportunities and drive to closure through collaborative cross selling solutions and through participation in marketing events.
- New Client Acquisition - Identify and develop new business by prospecting, networking and referrals. Translate business goals of new clients into actionable plans and strategies.
- Solution Selling - Approach selling from a business solution perspective to ensure that Corbus' services accurately address the customer/client's true business need in terms of type, scope, level.
- Consultative Selling - Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for Corbus.
- Pipeline Management - Build and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure continuous population of immediate and long term opportunities; analyze overall win rates and win/loss ratios.
- Strategic direction - Understand the overall strategic direction and portfolio, and assist in customizing solutions based on client needs. Monitor and evaluate the activities and service offerings of the competition.
- Partnering - Establish professional relationships and credibility with key Procurement, Marketing, and Operations business executives in support of other established relationships with the client.
- Industry and Client Knowledge - Stay current with industry trends and competitor knowledge. Maintain an understanding of client business challenges; position Corbus' capabilities to align with client business objectives and initiatives.
- Target Industries: Global Aviation and related industries, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, and Packaging
Requirements
- Strong, presentation skills to groups of all sizes and levels and a successful track record of sales and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships and be able to articulate strategy and solutions.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, time-management, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of market trends, industry participants, new technologies & business models.
- Ability to understand and relate product technology, strategy and direction.
- Must have positive attitude, high energy, possess a strong work ethic and maintain a high level of integrity and self -accountability.
- Ability to travel
- Work location flexible, with access to and support from Miamisburg, Ohio world headquarters.
