Job Description:

The Sales Coordinator for Hardware works closely with the Director of Sales for National Accounts- Hardware. The position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to key national accounts including pricing, product information, order and credit status. The Sales Coordinator will use discretion to make independent decisions to service key accounts and carry out business assignments.MINIMUMJOB SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree from an accredited college or universityin Marketing,Business or closely related field.ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:1 Customer serviceexperience in an manufacturing environment preferred2. Excellent oral and written communications skills3. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 -Must score a minimum of 70% on the basic level of for MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook and 70% on the intermediate Excel test utilizing the AMCAT software testing system4. SAP experience preferred.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Will meet attendance requirements of regular and predictable attendance2. Will gain expert knowledge of all Phifers capabilities and hardware products, customers, competitors and markets along with their underlying connections3. Will communicate with our customers, distributors, agents and prospects by e-mail, telephone, and fax regarding product information, pricing, order status and credit status4. Will have a vast knowledge of SAP transactions, enter work orders and generate paperwork for billing, account set-up5. Will communicate and follow-up with internal customers regarding productspecifications, costing, packaging, order status, shipment, credit, etc.6. Will service customer accounts through order entry, order maintenance, returnauthorizations as well as servicing incoming calls, inquiries and chats.7. Will maintain Phifer/Customer cross item reference8. Will provide excellent customer relations and provide outstanding service to internal andexternal customers9. Will create and maintain trip requests and travel itineraries for both sales reps and customers including maintaining expense reports for sales personnel10. Will create, maintain and coordinate trade show/meeting schedules and booth orders11. Will secure and send samples and literature to customers as requested12. Will provide administrative support needed for the department to be successful13.
