We value the diversity of all of our employees, and we are committed to creating a working environment that is built on a foundation of respect and inclusion, where everyone can contribute, advance on merit, and realize their full potential.We are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our facility in Normal, IL.Job responsibilities for this support position include:Providing front-line customer service to accountsProcessing service requests for pick-ups and deliveriesScheduling with pick-up and delivery sitesData entry in primary logistics softwareRequesting quotes from and hiring third-party freight haulersOrganizing open orders, delivery appointments, requests, etc. to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently and profitablySolving problems as they arise, often in urgent situationsWorking various short- and long-term research and improvement projects as neededThe ideal candidate for this position will:Truly like working in a multi-tasking, people interaction oriented work placeBe capable of doing detailed work, prioritizing and organizing their work for maximum effectivenessHave great Excel and computer, administrative skillsBe very dependable, with excellent attendanceHave a stable job historyWork positively and effectively with a wide variety of customers, vendors, co-workers and othersHave a minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration or related fieldMaintain a safe work environment and adhere to company's safety planAssist the route driver with recycling collectionWill grab toters and dumpsters to bring them to the truck for dumpingCleaning around dumpster areas as needed.Communicate with shredding department at the end of day with route informationPerform other duties as assignedWorking conditions/physical demandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
