- Manage and maintain relationships with clients regarding their event and catering specifications, including: event budgeting, planning, scheduling, and execution
- Be the initial point of contact for clients, and serve as the conduit between the client, the venue, Mintahoe staff, 3rd party service providers and other external partners.
- Determine and coordinate equipment and AV needs for events
- Create and update event orders and floor plans, and make decisions for events as appropriate
- Oversee room set-up and client load-in/load-out with minimal supervision
- Organize and apportion invoicing and billing
- Liaise with sales, culinary, operations, and event staff to identify and define event requirements, scope and objectives
- Serve as Event Captain as needed
- Analysis of post-event summaries
- Other tasks as business needs dictate
Requirements Specific Requirements for the Project Coordinator role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or similar field is preferred but not required
- Hospitality and catering experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative; able to work independently, and with minimal supervision
- Skilled at establishing and maintaining professional, trusting and collaborative relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Works well in a team environment, and able interact appropriately with diverse groups of people.
- Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate data insights to others
- Knowledge of the Caterease catering software package is a plus
- Must be able to remain standing for the entire length of an event shift, and carry large food and beverage trays weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted for a given length of time.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
