Job Description The Sales Coordinator will support sales, merchandising, and supply initiatives while collaborating with the customer planning and merchandising teams. They will ensure proper product fulfillment and overall customer performance. This role will develop detailed reports at the sku level and monitor orders, open-to-buy, and inventory, to ensure proper order flow and stock for our company and the customer. Employees work on-site 4 days and remotely 1 day, weekly. Sales & Marketing
- Foster routine interaction and provide customer service support to top retailers (Macy's, Kohl's, Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, and JCP) and personnel
- Collaborate with customers to analyze data and better drive retail and wholesale sales.
- Maintain weekly customized reporting to analyze performance and communicate findings to internal and external customers.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the competitive landscape through market evaluations, research, store checks, photos, and pricing.
- Manage major account portal administration and support, including but not limited to new item set-up
- Manage product sample process (ex: sample shipments to and from events and photoshoots)
- Collaborate cross-functionally on a variety of tasks to support the overall Sales and Marketing team and build strong working relationships with key internal departments
- Assist in generating product placement and diversification through category management and sell-through analysis.
- Prepare business analysis for sales presentations and attend sales meetings.
- Create and develop presentations for account meetings
- Ensure sample distribution and appropriate merchandising with sample tags, quote sheets, and system updates.
- Communicate a point of view on customer product needs.
- Help resolve customer issues, inquiries, and/or complaints.
Forecast and Supply Chain
- Report and analyze retail sell-through and the supply chain to properly forecast at the sku level
- Monitor and maintain order flow.
- Maintain price lists to ensure proper order flow pricing execution.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years of experience with national chains / Consumer Product Goods.
- Detail oriented & analytical mindset
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and specific retailer systems.
Preferred Skills and Industry Experience:
- Exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of our market, customers, and trends.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
