Description Coordinates cross-departmental efforts to align business activities with strategic goals, ensuring efficient order and contract management from receipt to shipment. Maintains compliance documentation, facilitates communication with shipping and accounting, and tracks order allocation to optimize product availability.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Collaborates with various departments and personnel to ensure that business activities align with the Group and Business strategy.
  • Actively manages orders and contracts from receipt through processing to shipment to allow for seamless allocation of product and the linking of available products to open orders.
  • Works with Compliance to maintain export documentation control and connection to current orders
  • Works with shipping department to communicate order completion and prep for shipment
  • Works with accounting department to pursue timely execution of shippable orders once payment terms are satisfied
  • Maintains a working matrix and analysis of the current orders allocated and what is estimated to be available for shipment through month end (managing the gap)
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers, and the general public.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Computer SkillProficient with Microsoft Office environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn new software and database programs as necessary.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.TravelMust be able and willing to travel extensively and on short notice both within the U.S. and possibly overseas.Appearance and DemeanorMust maintain professional dress, grooming and demeanor at all times to appropriately represent the company.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMaintain valid driver's license.
