Job SummaryThe Sales & Customer Service Coordinator is primarily responsible for processing all incoming purchase orders while working professionally and respectfully with all customers, both internal and external. Essential Job Functions
- Provides superior customer service to customers, brokers, and other Company employees
- Works closely with the internal sales team and brokers to ensure order accuracy
- Provide customers and sales staff accurate and timely information
- Process all orders with accuracy that are received via EDI and email.
- Sends order acknowledgments to brokers and customers as required.
- Transmits orders to all outside storage facilities and distribution centers.
- Back up for the appointment desk as well as working closely with the appointment desk personnel during the holidays to ensure the appointment desk e-mail box is responded to timely.
- Works closely with team members to be completely cross-trained on all EDI functions as well as export orders and documentation
- Understands and applies processes and systems that the company utilizes in order processing
- Assists sales team on special projects to accommodate customer needs
- Assists customers with concerns and offers practical solutions
- Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with customers and all Company employees

Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of Sales Customer Service experience, preferred but not required in a consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with professional enthusiasm and tact with the willingness to work with all levels of employees and management both internally and externally
- Anticipates needs of internal and external customers and responds to customer's needs and questions in a proactive receptive manner
Education and/or Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or combination of education, experience, and training, which would indicate possession of the required knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform the essential job functions
- Strong working knowledge of the Internet and PCs with Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Knowledge of EDI
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Knowledge of international/export order processes
- Previous related experience in Customer Service and/or Order Processing preferred

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to stand and/or sit in front of and operate a video display terminal for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry objects of varying sizes weighing up to 25 pounds
- Expected to be highly familiar with all production operations, and to regularly visit all significant company operations
- Work is performed in a standard office environment
