THE ROLE: Sales Development RepresentativeJob Summary:As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) reporting to our office in New York City, or Philadelphia, PA, you will play a crucial role in attracting new clients. You will be responsible for prospecting into target accounts, conducting market research, developing business strategies and pitches, and new business opportunities.Travel Requirements:This role requires minimal travel.Job Responsibilities:
  • Embrace and promote the company's vision and mission, striving to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Create customer demand by prospecting into new and existing customers using phone, email, and social media engagement.
  • Participate in regular role-playing and messaging exercises to sharpen your skills.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective demand generation strategies.
  • Assist in drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other necessary documents.
  • Identify and engage with new business opportunities and partners.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Required Skills:
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in business development or a similar field is preferred.
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Additional Desired Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong operational management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or equivalent work or military experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in business development or a similar field is preferred.
