Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for the West Coast region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth targets.
  • Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across the West Coast.
  • Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier accounts to drive revenue and brand loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting: Develop and track sales forecasts and performance metrics.
  • Brand Promotion: Ensure the successful execution of marketing and product launch initiatives in the region.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with key distributors and accounts.
  • Travel & Representation: Regularly travel throughout the West Coast to engage with clients and attend trade shows.

    Qualifications for Sales Director - Beverage (CPG):
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the alcohol, beverage, or CPG industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the alcohol industry and market dynamics.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Sales Strategy: Expertise in sales forecasting and executing long-term sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Results-Oriented: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the West Coast region.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
