Location: SF Bay Area OR Portland OR or Phoenix AZ

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The Sales Director maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customer.
  • Responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • The Sales Director represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. (Semiconductor space).

• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.

• Define semiconductor strategy working with multi-site/multi-practice teams based on next generation technologies (AI/ML and more)

• Work closely with customers to understand their offerings and roadmap, share that strategy with practice team to define solutions, offerings and proof of concept

• Work closely with multi-industry verticals to understand and cross-sell/up-sell semiconductor offerings from Silicon to Cloud

• Define jointly product roadmap for adjacent and new markets, product localization

• Sell existing Client IPs and shape/win new integrated opportunities

• Collaborate and drive consensus on key decisions within and outside with customers

• Drive business units' goals and align to their growth strategy, growth measured on new revenue addition

• Deliver overall messaging of status/issues to key internal/ external partners and customers

• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts

• Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.

• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES

• Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic account - 2.5 - 3.0 Mil $

• Meets assigned expectations for profitability.

• Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.

• Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.

• Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

• Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

REQUIREMENTS

• 10-15 years of Semiconductor and Product Engineering Solution Sales experience with at least 7-8 years of sales & business development experience in the US Geography

• Must have hands-on experience selling Engineering Services to Semiconductor clients.

• Exposure and experience in HPC, Gaming, Automotive, Industrial, Plant and Edge Processing Engineering

• Leadership experience both in technical and management roles. Able to drive both internal and external stakeholders

• Participate and contribute in key forums/events

• Strong understanding of the general silicon engineering from business needs to product concept to tape-out to production

• Experience working with multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering teams

• Good understanding of the offshore and global delivery model

• Hands on experience and knowledge in silicon to cloud will be added advantage

EDUCATION: Bachelors or Master's in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical or Telecommunications Engineering.
