Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our Policy Administration sales team within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of policy administration systems, with experience in P&C products, platforms and BPO Services, and proven expertise in driving sales strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across various levels. The Sales Director will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and achieving aggressive revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong background in P&C policy administration and insurance software, with the ability to identify, qualify, and close leads in the P&C insurance market.
  • Sales leader with experience in P&C products, platforms and BPO Services.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's goals in the P&C insurance market, focusing on policy administration solutions.
  • Establish and monitor sales KPIs, ensuring that the team meets and exceeds revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with account management teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and drive long-term value.
  • Proven experience selling SaaS products and services to insurance carriers, with a focus on penetrating new territories and generating new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and adapt sales approaches.
  • Participate in high-level planning sessions with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to the sales team.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales within the insurance industry, with a strong focus on policy administration systems in the P&C sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Travel:

    An estimated 5% travel for the year (2.5 weeks or up to 3 weeks total for the year for conference attendance).
