Job Description:

Eleven have been retained by a start-up advanced materials company based in Houston, who are looking for a Sales Director.

The company has developed a unique chemical manufacturing process of their nanomaterial which has the potential to disrupt the market in a big way. This position is to spearhead the commercial growth of the product and company.

The position offers responsibility and autonomy from day one, to build out and develop the commercial strategy for the business and capitalize on this technology's potential. There is also future progression, with the company wanting to build out the sales team and functions beneath this hire, leading to promotion opportunities to VP of Sales.

The product can be used as an additive in a wide range of end industries such as polymers, composites, coatings, electronics, battery, and building materials.

Because of the technical nature of the product and process, you must have:

  • Formal Technical Degree / Qualifications
  • Considerable direct Commercial experience in the additives industries mentioned above, US and Global Markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and sales skills
  • Willingness and Ability to travel within the US, as well as Globally as needed
