Sales Director

Hybrid Work Schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote each week)

Metabolic Solutions is a bio-analytical laboratory leading the application of stable isotopes biomarkers in drug research and clinical trials with a focus on rare diseases and gene therapy. For over 30 years, we've helped more than 1,000 pharmaceutical, government, and academic researchers nationwide to answer their questions about metabolism, nutrition, and the presence of disease. Our work has helped diagnose patients with rare gastro diseases and has also supported new drug discoveries that are at the forefront of science.

As we grow our team, we're seeking a Sales Director for our medical testing division who will play a crucial role in guiding and growing that significant segment of our company. The Sales Director will report to our CEO and will lead the day-to-day relationship with our largest client.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationship with our largest client, including troubleshooting, weekly reporting, and price negotiation.
  • Lead the admin/customer support team.
  • Grow our B2B medical testing business by selling to existing and new clients, particularly to hospitals and large health centers.
  • Lead the kit building operations and logistics that support the medical testing business.
  • Help with overall growth strategy of the medical testing business.
  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a Sales or Business Development Role with a track record of success.
  • 1-2 years of people management experience in a Sales or Business Development function.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and influencing decision-makers and key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong communicator with a passion for coaching and mentorship.
  • Outside-the-box thinker, willing to test and experiment to improve team performance.
  • Career motivated, looking for an opportunity to make a mark and move quickly through a fast-growing organization.
  • Experience working in Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Lead Navigator, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with medical testing, laboratory testing, and sales for large healthcare institutions is a plus.
