JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Director will work closely with all internal partners and be the key contact and our face to one of the company's largest big box customers This position will have responsibility for the entirety of the companys business and have reporting relationship to our Sales EVP and have accountability for a business analyst direct report. Other key partners in driving the business will include the CMO, Product team, production planning, customer service, and product development. The Business Director is responsible for maintaining the customers base of the business with a focus on growth in new and existing categories and departments.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining the key customers base of business with a focus on growth in new and existing categories and departments
With the help of the EVP of sales, develop the annual sales plan
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs, on an ongoing basis
Be a proactive voice of the customer internally
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is preferred
Ability to travel, up to 20%
Must be okay to work in a dog friendly office
