Job Description:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee sales for all assigned territory
  • Hire, train, direct, and manage salespeople
  • Manage & own all crucial sales team activities, account assignment, goal setting to result in increased sales, gross profit, market share, dual brands, visibility
  • Set the team strategy and vision to achieve the multi-divisional, on-premise objectives
  • Coordinate, support, and create sales objectives with Vice President, portfolio managers, and suppliers
  • Create and maintain a positive high-performance team culture, lead all recruiting, hiring and performance management including succession planning
  • Develop, study, train, communicate, measure, and manage the appropriate utilization of industry trends, data, business solutions, and IT applications to the sales force
  • Lead team meetings and one-on-ones
  • Provide value via regular sales calls and business reviews.
  • Strategical work and be the expert on the current situation in the market with constant contact with salespeople, divisional management, and suppliers

  • Initiative-taking and driven
  • Ability to coordinate efforts among diverse groups
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills both internally and externally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Strong history of sales accomplishments required
  • Ability to educate and teach both groups and individuals
  • Budget and financial literacy required
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Ability to travel for presentations, trainings, and events
  • Education/Training/Experience

  • Exceptional understanding of management and motivational techniques
  • 10+ years' experience within beverage industry
  • Candidate must live in the territory, possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license and registration
  • Physical Demands and Environment:

  • Work performed requires limited physical exertion, may be required to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Work is performed in a normal office sitting with intermittent standing or sitting as determined by the incumbent
  • Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks requiring periods of focused mental and visual concentration
  • Minimal potential for injury in the performance of duties
