Job Description:
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Main Enterprises.SUMMARYPromote the Service Sales process and goals by developing new and enhancing existing clientele cost estimates. Grow, maintain Time and Material Billing. Develop & implement systemsto achieve service sales goals. Maintain regular communication with customers in order to assure that their needs are met; expand the service contract business. Market the company to the community and sell mechanical and HVAC services that will provide continued growth and profitability.ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Treat all people associated with Main Enterprises with respect, honesty and integrity at all times, while maintaining a safe work environment.2. Work within the sales process to develop accurate, timely estimates of cost and profitability prospective work.3. Help develop and implement a plan for effectively marketing Main Enterprises as the premier HVAC resource for new clientele.4. Work with Service Manager to plan and schedule projects, assuring that necessary resources are available.5. Develop and expand the profitability of the business through satisfaction and loyalty with customers. Identify prospects and follow through with timely and accurate proposals.6. Sell Preventative Maintenance Contracts and submit to the Service manager for follow through.7. Expansion of service revenues by satisfying customers, developing referrals and meeting company sales and marketing goals.8. Develop and expand the service contract business by building loyalty with new customers, identify any and all other prospects, and sell in accordance with company policies.9. Ascertain proper information in scope of work, through field inspection and site surveys.10. Specify materials, identify vendors, and negotiate terms and conditions.11. Provide effective communication of sales activities with Service Manager including initiating meetings, written communications, and telecommunications from sales activities through reports.12. Identify areas where operational processes can be improved and work with others toward the goal of continuous improvement.13. Collaborate with other staff to provide assistance and support. May fill in for absent employees and help with peak workloads.14. Perform other duties as assigned or as operations require.KEY STANDARS BY WHICH THE RESULTS ARE EVALUATED 1. Customer satisfaction is consistently high, based on regular survey results.2. Expansion of service revenues by satisfying current and new customers, developing referrals and meeting personal sales and marketing goals.3. Service Department operational sales goals are estimated, communicated and achieved including but not limited to contract and non-contract work.4. Internal collaboration and teamwork with intercompany staff.5. Ensure the profitability of the service department is enhanced based on increased efficiency and productivity as indicated in internal company reporting and auditing.6. Estimates are consistently accurate, timely and complete.7. Consistent follow through on assignments.8. High percentage of sales other than service such as all energy upgrades to the LEED department.AUTHORITY NEEDEDTO PERFORM FUNCTION
  • Receive and review service department information on a timely basis.
  • Compile and sign service contracts.
  • Obtain support and assistance from Administrative Team and others within the Company.
  • Make recommendations and build consensus.
NOTE: It is understood that the above may be revised periodically based on Company needs at the discretion of the President. We will discuss any such changes to assure a common understanding.Requirements
  • Must have knowledge of HVAC trade technical, mechanical systems.
  • Plumbing/piping and controls a plus.
  • Experienced in estimating service projects with the knowledge of equipment/vendor purchases for component, replacement and ect.
  • Must have communication skills to speak with current and prospective clients.
  • Five or more years of sales experience.
  • Computer skills include Microsoft office, Excel and Word.
Salary Description $90,000 - $92,000
