About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer/Account Executive to join a dynamic team that specializes in HVAC system solutions for commercial and industrial applications. This position is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales and technical expertise, working with a wide range of clients, including hospitals, universities, office buildings, and warehouses. You'll represent the company's line of HVAC products and services, managing projects from specification to completion, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Projects You'll Work On
- Engage in comprehensive HVAC sales calls from start to finish, including preparation, opening, probing, closing, and post-sale follow-up.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships to meet and exceed sales benchmarks.
- Engineer and design project specifications, contributing your technical insights to client proposals.
- Lead public bid placements for contracts and navigate contract negotiations with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project installations from initiation to final delivery, ensuring all systems meet high standards of quality and functionality.
- Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner closely with internal teams, including project coordinators, project managers, and engineers, to ensure project success.
What Experience You Should Bring
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree preferred, or at least four years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the HVAC industry.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of bringing sales opportunities to closure, understanding customer needs, and accurately forecasting revenue.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC systems, project engineering, and an ability to stay current on new products and industry advancements.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: Strong dedication to customer satisfaction, building trust-based relationships, and consistently meeting client expectations.
- Time Management & Action Orientation: Skilled at prioritizing, managing time effectively, and demonstrating proactive, solution-focused action.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, BlueBeam etc.
Physical Requirements
- Able to remain seated for extended periods, perform office-related tasks, and operate general office equipment.
- Capable of occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds and moving about in various work environments, including office and on-site locations.
