MidAmerica Liner is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our team in the geosynthetic industry. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise, industry knowledge, and sales acumen to promote and sell our geosynthetic products and solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Understand and explain the technical aspects of geosynthetic products, including their applications, benefits, and installation processes.Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and expand the customer base.Product Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our geosynthetic solutions.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.Proposal Development: Prepare technical proposals and quotations, ensuring they meet customer specifications and requirements.Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.Training and Support: Provide training and support to customers and internal teams regarding product usage, specifications, and best practices.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, technical sales, or engineering roles within the geosynthetic or related industries.
- Strong understanding of geosynthetic materials and their applications in construction, environmental, and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certification in sales or engineering (e.g., PMP, PE).
