Sales Position for Window Modes
Job Title: Outside Sales Representative - Wholesale Window Treatments
Territory: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with new dealers.
Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and securing new dealer accounts, maintaining relationships, and achieving sales targets within their assigned territory. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong background in sales and a passion for the window treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Acquire New Dealers: Identify potential dealers and establish contact through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities. Present our product offerings and value proposition to secure new dealer accounts.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new dealers to ensure ongoing sales and customer satisfaction. Provide training, support, and guidance to help dealers succeed.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the dealer network within the assigned territory. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing dealers. Showcase the features and benefits of our window treatment solutions to drive interest and sales.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, dealer interactions, and sales performance. Provide regular reports to management on sales progress and market conditions.
- Customer Service: Ensure prompt and effective resolution of dealer inquiries, issues, and complaints. Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service and support to dealers.
- Travel: Travel within the assigned territory to meet with dealers, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience within the window treatment or related industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a customer base.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the wholesale distribution model and familiarity with window treatment products is highly desirable.
- Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Valid driver's license required, must have vehicle for transportation.
