Sales & Finance Data Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales & Finance Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our Salesforce data. You will be responsible for building reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Salesforce, excellent analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. In addition to Salesforce data analysis, you will be booking invoices into QuickBooks and reconciling data to ensure that data shared by Salesforce and QuickBooks ties out.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integrity:
- Develop and implement data quality control measures within Salesforce.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Maintain data integrity by monitoring data entry procedures and implementing best practices through automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy across all systems.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Design and develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to leadership.
- Analyze sales, marketing, financial, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Data Monitoring:
- Monitor data flows in and out of Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and documentation.
- Proactively identify potential data issues and implement solutions.
Salesforce Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships.
- Utilize Salesforce reporting and analysis tools to extract and manipulate data.
- Stay current on Salesforce updates and best practices.
Financial Transactions (Quickbooks):
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards in Quickbooks - allocating the transactions to the proper general ledger accounts
- Analyze general ledger detail to identify transactions that were improperly allocated.
- Analyze Quickbooks data against Salesforce data to ensure figures tie out.
Reporting:
- The Sales & Finance Data Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance & Accounting.
- The Sales & Finance Data Analyst will report indirectly to the COO and Director of Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong understanding of Salesforce.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets experience

Compensation:
We are offering a competitive compensation package with a base salary of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, plus quarterly bonuses based on key performance indicators (KPIs). The quarterly bonuses will be aligned with measurable and achievable KPIs to reward performance and contributions to company goals.
