We are the most trusted source of personal power because of our sustained commitment to innovation, producing more compact, more powerful, and longer lasting batteries.The Duracell Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience while working and collaborating with a diverse pool of talent on cross functional assignments.The Walmart Sales intern will work closely with the Walmart Sales team in the areas of reporting, analytics, conduct Walmart store checks, review digital advertising, and ad-hoc requests.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Report Generation and Analysis - assist in creating and maintaining weekly reports for the Walmart Team utilizing Luminate and Unify. Analyzing brand and category results and communicating data insights to Sales Team.
- eCommerce - collaborate with sales and marketing team to ensure Duracell products on Walmart.com are up to date with imagery and econtent, and monitor active ecommerce campaigns for Duracell and Total Category.
- Market Visits - conduct in-person Walmart store checks for Duracell battery merchandising, primarily in Northwest Arkansas and other locations TBD.
Key Results/measures:
- Execute weekly project reports
- Provide collaborative feedback to marketing and sales to help improve user experience on Walmart.com when shopper searches for batteries
Qualifications
- Enrolled at the University of Arkansas College of Business and actively pursuing a 4-year degree in Marketing or Retail
- Excellent analytic skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to multi-task, be organized and maintain strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and interact with others globally
- Active participant on a team or in a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated leadership through school and/or community involvement.
- Strong Knowledge/Skills of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Retail Link/Luminate and syndicated data knowledge is a plus
