Sales Lead

Profile requirements: Experience of 15+ years in IT (Software) Product Sales (preferably to Chemical Industry). Will help out in the Digitalization agenda of the organization. Any prior experience in the same will be an add-on. To be based in US (Houston Preferred) and hence priority to be given to local candidates or the ones who are working presently in US. Should have the necessary IT Degree to support or enough experience of IT Software Sales. Will be involved in B2B or enterprise Sales.

Job Summary:

As an IT Software Sales Lead focused on Enterprise Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and for setting up a sales team. Your primary goal will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, identify their software needs, and effectively sell the solutions to meet those needs. You will also play a pivotal role in setting sales strategies, targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
    • Create a collaborative and motivating team culture that promotes excellence and innovation.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to achieve sales goals.
  • Enterprise Sales Strategy:
    • Define and implement a clear sales strategy tailored to enterprise clients.
    • Identify target industries and key accounts for business expansion.
    • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demand.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at enterprise-level clients.
    • Understand clients' business challenges and goals to position solutions effectively.
    • Develop customized sales presentations and proposals to address client-specific needs.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure deals.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the required space.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.
    • Provide regular market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting:
    • Track and report on sales performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), pipeline management, and revenue forecasts.
    • Implement and utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to streamline sales processes and data management.
    • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT or Chemical Engineering a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • In-depth understanding of the solutions being offered and their value proposition in an enterprise context.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics.
    • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.

    Skills:

    • Proven track record of successful sales experience
