Duties- Manage and oversee daily store operations- Supervise staff and provide guidance as needed- Conduct employee orientation and training programs- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly- Operate cash registers and manage financial transactions- Assist with inventory management and restocking- Implement shift management and ensure coverage during peak hours- Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
Skills- Proficient in cash register operations- Strong ability to manage and lead a team effectively- Experience in shift management within a retail setting- Knowledge of employee orientation and training procedures- Exceptional customer service skills- Excellent time management abilities- Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus- Proficiency in POS systems, preferably in a grocery store environment- Understanding of budgeting principles for retail operations
