Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a targeted sales strategy, organization, and budget focused on generating new business in the pharma manufacturing vertical, including:
- Sales and partnership strategy
- Sales organization, budget, team, recruiting, onboarding, metrics, efficiency, training, and compensation
- Market planning & research
- Develop and research sales leads
- Sales strategy including trade shows, prospect visits, and outbound initiatives
- Enhance and customize sales collateral
- Communicate compelling customer solutions
- Efficiently negotiate and close contracts
- Sales data and CRM (Hubspot)
- Achieve aggressive sales goals
- This role supported by professionals including VP-Sales, Sales Operations & Planning, Marketing Lead-Gen, and Technical Sales, as well as external Marketing Agency
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to renew and expand contracts with existing customers
- Provide substantial input into Company's marketing strategy, including: branding, external agency relationships, external messaging, content marketing, prospect presentations and other collateral, trade events, and website updates
- Be the market advocate to senior executives, providing key inputs into company strategic decisions, including: product roadmap, pricing, customer success and growth, organizational structure, hiring, and corporate partnering
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong background in consultative enterprise sales to the pharma industry; management consulting for pharma clients; or pharma Digital Health business development (6+ years of relevant experience)
- Strong record in sales management, including: sales and partnership strategy, sales organization, budgeting, recruiting, development, and compensation; market planning & research
- Candidates will demonstrate verifiable success selling enterprise solutions, services, and/or data to pharma industry buyers, including: pharma Brand Managers; Managers of Patient Support Programs (PSP); pharma Marketing Department leaders, and/or leaders of pharma Digital Innovation (or similar)
- Detailed knowledge of the pharma manufacturing sector, and some existing pharma industry contacts
- Ability to communicate complex healthcare and technology features into customer-friendly language and presentations
- Commercial mindset and determination to drive growth; operates with high level of independence and initiative
- Strong influencer and communicator inside and outside the organization
- Excellent relationship-building and follow-through skills
- Experience working in growth-stage, multi-tasked, high-growth company environment
- Detail and metric-oriented
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and other key presentation software, and Hubspot CRM.
