**Driveway Desk Manager**

The Driveway Desk Manager is responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Driveway Agents to deliver an unparalleled customer experience throughout the online buying process, vehicle inspection appointment setting, and service scheduling process. This position will be responsible for facilitating the acquiring, delivering and picking up all makes and models of new and used vehicles. They will ensure that the team provides a seamless and frictionless premium experience as efficiently as possible.

The Driveway Desk Manager reports to the Operations Manager.

**Position Overview**

**Area of Responsibility**

* Work leads from CRM, CRM desking tool, and digital retail portal

* Submit credit applications and deal structure into Route One/Dealer Track

* Monitor lender portal for approvals

* Restructure deals for lender approval

* Work with Driveway Agents to send updated proposals to customers

* Identify protection products that fit into deal structure

* Calculate taxes and DMV Fees (multiple states)

* Load customer and deal structure into the Dealer Management System

* Process all transaction paperwork, ensure it is accurate and meets Business Office and lender requirements

* Track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding

* Coordinate lead transition from BDC to store leadership

* Build customer trade vehicles in Firstlook/vAuto

* Answer department chat when coverage is needed

* Review chat portal daily for areas of opportunity

* Maintain lead and sold log

* Maintain department stats

* Review agent portal and logs for areas of opportunity

* Conduct weekly department meeting and training

* Train agents on process and systems

* Work with store leadership to improve lead close ratios

* Work inventory offer/no offer leads

* Complete pre-inspection check sheet on all SSM customers

* Communicate offer to purchase to the customer through the CRM email/text function

* Verify vehicles registered owner on SSM leads

* Pull vehicle history reports on all inventory leads

* Verify vehicle payoffs on all inventory leads

* Verify required customer documents

* Set appointment for valet inspection with customer

* Set calendar invite for inspection

* Document and communicate appointment, payoff, registration and title information in the CRM and email to assigned inspection valet

* Follow CRM workflow schedule

* Submit customer information to lenders through lending portal

* Manage collection and reconciliation process for cash, checks and credit card receipts

* Verify all customer documents as necessary

* Submit Finance Contracts

* Ensure customer paperwork is uploaded correctly to the Digital Deal Jacket

* Maintain solid operational controls

**Lithia Hiring Requirements**

* High school graduate or equivalent.

* 18 years or older

* Possess an acceptable driving record and valid drivers license in state of residence

* A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment

* Clear pre-employment drug screen
