You'll lead and motivate a team of Territory Managers, Product Specialists, and Marketing Specialists to hit individual and collective targets, while working closely with our marketing team to increase brand awareness and generate leads.Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals to meet their targets.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales data and adjust strategies to improve performance in key regions.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive lead generation and boost brand visibility.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and sales staff to drive business growth.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on competitor pricing and strategies to enhance our competitive edge.
  • Industry Awareness: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Credit and Payment Management: Align with the credit department to ensure timely customer payments and address any collection issues.
  • Policy & Procedure: Ensure company policies are followed and recommend improvements to maintain competitive advantages.
  • Customer & Event Management: Manage new customer setups and oversee logistics for company events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Supplier Relations: Collaborate with suppliers on business plans, reporting, and service escalations.
  • Internal Leadership: Host and lead internal sales and marketing meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Inventory Planning: Work with the purchasing department to help optimize inventory levels based on demand expectations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of strong sales experience, with at least 5 in leadership, preferably within the manufacturing, distribution or similar industry.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office, MS Teams, MS Windows, and web navigation.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local market conditions and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel: Routine travel required to meet with customers and suppliers.
  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Leadership & Motivation: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience in creating and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
