Sund Birsta is a leading provider of innovative solution for the steel industry, committed to enhancing production efficiency and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to join our North America team.
As a Sund Birsta Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our customer network for strapping machines and handling equipment for strip mills. This role involves significant travel to meet with potential and existing customers, ensuring products are well-represented and effectively integrated into customer's operations / production.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop new customer acquisition strategies and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Focus on the external commercial aspects, primarily on flat products.
• Identify and understand customer needs, providing expert advice and solution in collaboration with our North American and Swedish teams.
• Plan and follow up on customer visits, create optimal quotations and ensuring ongoing needs are met.
• Maintain strong customer connections through frequent visit and follow-ups.
• Monitor sales performance and analyze data to develop quarterly sales plans, strategies, and goals. Report directly to CEO of North America subsidiary.
• Ensure the highest level of realization for our products and services, driving both customer success and company growth.
• Stay updated on market trends and prospect new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
• You hold at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electric or Automation Engineering.
• You have at least 10years experience toward the flat steel industry.
• You have strong negotiation and strategic planning skills.
• You have deep understanding of steel industry and customer needs.
• You have ability to travel within the region as required.
• You have proven experience in sales, offering complex solutions and thinking outside of the box in order to offer a real solution.
• You have strong commercial drive with a results-oriented approach.
• Punctual and accurate with strong PC skills
• Fluency in one of the following languages is a plus. Spanish, Swedish, French, or German
